[ad_1]

Saturday was the tenth annual Clash At Clairemont event in San Diego that benefits The Grind For Life Foundation started by Mike Rogers, a two time cancer survivor. Tons of skaters and fans came out to support this great cause including Tony Hawk, Ryan Sheckler, Andy Mac, Christian Hosoi, and Bob Burnquist just to name a few. There was a vert demo, a bowl contest, the first ever SkaterCross and tons of other ripping going down all day. Here’s a little video recap in case you couldn’t make it out. Keep up the great work Mike. You’re an inspiration and doing great work for those in need.

The fifth stop of our 2016 Come Up Tour (C.U.T.) hit the NYC yesterday at the new McCarren Skatepark where we were greeted by groups of local rippers. All the skaters killed it and everyone who came out had a good time. We love NYC! The next and final stop will be in Battle Ground, Washington, just outside of Portland, on July 9th! Visit twskate.com/cut for all the info! We hope to see you there. Click the photo below for full results from our NYC stop!

Dew Tour Shop Showdown – FINAL 4

[ad_1]

Funneled down from 16 shops, the four remaining shops in the 2016 Shop Showdown are:

Index (Dallas, Texas)
Sixth Avenue (Nashville, Tennessee)
Blindside (Tulsa, Oklahoma)
35th Ave. (Federal Way, Washington)

All four shops will be flown to California in July to attend and compete on the newly updated Dew Tour course and format. They’ve been tasked with selecting four team riders who will skate the four different disciplines the new course has to offer: transition, stairs/gaps, rails, and the tech section. Each shop will skate and be judged by the Dew Tour judges during the live broadcast of Dew Tour. The winning shop will receive a $5000 cash prize, a print feature in an upcoming issue of Transworld SKATEboarding, tons of exposure, and much more! We’ve come a long way this year—we’ll see you at Dew Tour in July! #DewTourShopShowdown
