We chose to highlight the Metric CLS from CONS for a handful of reasons, one of them being that it’s the shoe of choice by one of our favorites over here at TWS, Jake Johnson. The Converse Metric CLS is built on a platform of comfort, lightweight and stability. The flexible, lightweight dual-density midsole has been injected with Nike Phylon performance foam to deliver impact protection. A slim cupsole profile and the absence of a strobel board put skaters closer to the board for great board-feel with the locked in feel of a cupsole. We’ve been seeing a lot of this shoe lately and were lucky enough to try out a few pairs ourselves back in the good ol’ TransWorld Park and undeniably give them two thumbs up. Without filling your brains with too many of the small minor details, we highly suggest trying a pair for yourself.
