adidas Skateboarding collaborates with Welcome Skateboards to create a limited-edition Matchcourt shoe and bespoke jersey. Notorious for its artistic aesthetic, The adidas Skateboarding x Welcome Skateboard collection fuses the California-based brand’s unique art heritage with the performance innovation and classic detailing of adidas’ design philosophy. This latest collection is the second collaborative release from both brands – the first debuting in 2015.

The adidas Skateboarding x Welcome collaboration includes an enhanced Matchcourt Mid silhouette that features a seafoam blue, premium suede upper, tonal slate rubber toe and a semi-translucent gum outsole. Custom art along the shoe’s molded sockliner captures the renowned art heritage of the Welcome Skateboard brand. The limited-edition jersey features the Welcome Skateboards trademark owl and familiar quirky design notes.

The adidas Skateboarding x Welcome Skateboards capsule collection is available at specialty retailers in the U.S. and the adidas Skateboarding website starting May 1.

adidas Away Days Clip and Global Tour Dates

Along with the video teaser, adidas Skateboarding reveals the premiere schedule for the Away Days global tour and limited-edition team poster slated for distribution to skate shops around the world. In the clip, team riders Lucas Puig, Na-Kel Smith and Silas Baxter-Neal offer an insight to the personal challenges faced while filming for Away Days.

As the visual culmination of more than three years of filming, spanning shoots in more than 90 cities around the globe, Away Days profiles adidas Skateboarding talent, and their individual personalities and style. The Away Days skate film will premiere across global key cities over the course of three weeks culminating into the official release to the public.
