Regulament participare la concursul de skateboarding
Inscrierile la fata locului nu sunt posibile, vor participa numai cei invitati in prealabil. Ceilalti skateboarderi care vor sa vina sa se dea in skate-park vor putea doar atunci cand nu are loc warm-up-ul sau concursul propriu-zis.

Cei selectati vor forma 8 grupe a cate 4 rideri, urmand a trece prin prima calificare in format jam session, in urma careia vor ramane 6 grupe a cate 4 rideri. Dintr-o grupa se pot califica toti riderii sau nici unul, conteaza evolutia fiecaruia indiferent de restul grupei.
Elementele de concurs sunt mini-ramp, fun box-ul cu step-up, gap, over-flat (toate posibilitatile) si rail-ul lung de langa scari(pe rail, peste el, in bank), jam session-ul la fiecare element in parte va dura 8 minute.
In finala vor ajunge 12 rideri romani, unde vor fi asteptati de 12 rideri pro de la Carhartt, urmand a se forma 12 echipe – alcatuite dintr-un rider roman si un rider Carhartt PRO.
Riderii din team-ul Carhartt vor avea la dispozitie 5 încercari de a face un trick pe unul din elementele de concurs, iar trick-ul se va extrage pe bilet la fata locului. Acest fapt le va da sansa de a-si alege ce rider roman doresc in echipa.
In finala se vor da cate 2 echipe tot in format jam session, cate 6 minute pe aceleasi elemente precum in calificari.
Concursul se va desfasura pe perioada 12,13,14 august.

It’s summertime and as a fixed date the ESC in Basel goes into the next round. But this year there also is a jubilee to celebrate: holler, it’s the ESC’s 10th anniversary!!! We sincerely invite you to this event, honouring ten years of true passion and deep love for skateboarding with the European Skateboard Championships 2010!

It’s hard to believe it’s already for the 10th time that Carhartt is presenting the ’Etnies European Skateboard Championships’. For more than a decade now, Carhartt has been intensively involved in the European skateboarding scene and widely contributed to showcasing its cultural diversity and creativity. What started in summer 2001 in Basel in close cooperation with Etnies – a strong activist and pioneer of the skateboard scene for over 25 years – has since then turned into a main reference and the most awaited yearly European skateboard contest. More than 300 skateboarders from over 20 cities, amateurs and pros, are on the guest list, and although the weekend is about competition for the best title, the ESC has become more like a family meeting of Europe’s skateboard scene. Every year you can meet the whole spectrum of skateboard culture: the protagonists themselves, the media, the industry, the organizers and of course the fans, who all together make these four days a unique and exceptional event.

On Thursday afternoon the youngsters, 16 and under, start off the show with the Street Junior Champs. On Friday there is the Street Prequalification to find the ones who will compete against 100 prequalified European skaters. Saturday kicks off the Miniramp with the qualification runs, as well as the Street Qualification. Sunday is dedicated to the finals in Street, Miniramp and Girls’ Jam .

Of course on Saturday there will also be a big party where you can have a drink or two. So don’t miss the 10th anniversary of the ESC in Basel!
