adidas Skateboarding collaborates with BAIT shops for the release of the limited edition ‘Happy’ Stan Smith VULC shoe – an organic take on the classic Stan Smith silhouette with a provocative material story. The limited edition ‘Happy’ Stan Smith VULC plays up a medicinal vibe, highlighted with full hemp upper and a custom designed stone pattern. The shoe is accented with a hairy suede heel tab, cork inspired sock-liner, tongue stash pocket and a playful ‘high potency’ label applied to both the sock-liner and tongue.

The limited edition ‘Happy’ Stan Smith VULC shoe is available exclusively at BAIT shops on April 20 by lottery only. The ‘Happy’ Stan Smith VULC will retail for $120.

Lakai Limited Footwear is proud to present its latest collaboration with legendary skateboarder and artist Natas Kaupas.

Kaupas, who began his career in the early 1980s, is considered to be one of the first street skaters of his kind and a pioneer in his own right. With wide-spread artistic contributions on and off the board, Kaupas has been a long time inspiration to the brand and the industry as a whole, making this a particularly special project for everyone involved. The nautical-inspired collection features three different colorways in the Camby silhouette, utilizing water resistant materials, seersucker lining, and leather cord lace. Two additional T-shirts further round out the assortment, all featuring Natas’ custom artwork.

The Natas Kaupas Collection retails from $70.00, hitting skate shops worldwide April 8, 2016. In celebration of launch, Lakai will further be hosting a release party that same day at General Admission in Venice from 7PM-10PM PST.

The collaborative Superstar Vulc is an updated interpretation of The Hogan, a vintage silhouette originated by adidas in the 1980s. Embroidered on the lateral side of the shoe is a gold foil league player print that complements the shoe’s leather collar and tongue lining.
