Andrew Cole is a Napa Valley native and one of Old Friends‘ oldest friends. Using the staves from recycled wine barrels, Andrew came up with the idea to make skateboards out of them. With these “Staveboards,” Andrew has found a new use for the strong Oak wood used primarily for aging wine and we are pleased to bring you a limited offering of Staveboards through Old Friends, complete with Old Friends x Spitfire 80HD wheels, Thunder trucks, and Spitfire bearings.
