SKATE THEM ALL
It gives us great pleasure to announce the Balkan skateboard event of the
year!
This one- off event is hosted as ever by the people behind every major
skate event in Bulgarian skate history, Skatebg.com, in association with
our good friends at the deluxe Shoping Mall of Rouse.
This street format contest takes place from the 22- 23.07.2011 within a
beautiful shopping centre in Rouse, the beautiful, historic university town
on the Bulgarian- Romanian border.
Skate theM ALL is an international open event, and we here invite all our
Romanian family to take part in this historical happening.
Here is the public press release:
“ SKATE THEM ALL ” is a unique format for a skate competition. It will run
over 2 days from the 22nd and is open to all skaters for free on day one,
where qualifiers will be selected for the finals on day 2.
The 23rd will see the semi-finals, best trick contest and all- action final.
There are 1000 euros in cash to be won, plus lots of really generous
packages from the sponsors.
Especially for this event, the organizers Skatebg and Sandomax Marketing
are going to bring the biggest portable street course in the country.
The whole course is customised around the theme of the event and is sure
to be a talking point for a long time to come!
“ SKATE THEM ALL ” will be a unique competition format never seen
before anywhere in the world.
Qualifiers will consist of 2 minute runs for each contender in which they are
to skate all the obstacles in order to collect points and progress.
The entire event will be run as a game format with special rules applied to
each given heat.
Run by the most knowledgeable and respected judges from Bulgaria and
Romania, and with a sublime soundtrack supplied by Skatebg`s very own
DJ Ramsey Hercules, we also announce very special guest MC’s to hype
and educate the crowd: Bashmen (famous Bulgarian skater and MC) and
SDB (frontman of hardcore act Vendeta and leader of Sofia skate crew
Wasted Youth).
We guarantee that this will be the best run event in the history of our
two great countries, and the start of a long and exciting future for both
our skate scenes!!

Boaz Aquino vine la Bucuresti pentru Red Bull Under My Wing
Unul dintre cei mai respectati skateboarderi din lume, Boaz Aquino, vine in Romania pentru proiectul Red Bull Under My Wing, sustinand doua workshopuri pentru skateboarderii romani.
Boaz vine la Bucuresti in perioada 12-13 iunie pentru a impartasi experienta sa cu skateboarderii romani. Workshop-urile vor fi adresate atat incepatorilor, cat si celor intermediari si vor avea loc in skatepark-ul de la Fabrica.
Boaz Aquino respira . . . skateboarding prin fiecare por al sau in fiecare zi, petrecandu-si cea mai mare parte a zilei, dar si a vietii in skatepark-urile din Israel, din Europa si din intreaga lume, adica pe acolo pe unde il poarta concursurile, demonstratiile si workshop-urile.
Boaz a inceput sa cocheteze cu skateboardingul la varsta de 6 ani, iar de la 13 ani a devenit sportiv profesionist, castigat numeroase titluri internationale.
Daca vrei sa te numeri printre cei 30 de skateboarderi prezenti la workshopul Red Bull Under My Wing, grabeste-te si completeaza formularul. Cu cat il trimiti mai repede, cu atat vei avea sanse mai mari sa fii aproape de una dintre legendele mondiale ale skateboarding-ului.
Element Make It Count Skate Contest
Uzati placile. Tociti railurile. Rupeti-va shoesii. Pregatiti-va pentru Element Make It Count skate contest.
Dupa ce prima editie a contestului a avut super-succes in majoritatea tarilor europene, cea de-a doua editie calca si pamant romanesc. Pana in 12 martie aveti timp sa va antrenati, sa va aranjati si sa va pregatiti pentru contestul care te trimite la Madrid.
Deci, sambata, 12 martie, goliti calendarul de orice evenimente neimportante si prezentati-va cu tot cu placa din dotare la Industrial Skatepark in Bucuresti (indicatii geografice: strada 11 Iunie nr. 50). Calificarile se vor face pe grupe, fiecare grupa avand atribuit un element. Cel mai bun rider din grupa sa ajunge in finala unde va concura impotriva celorlalti “cei mai buni rideri” de la celelalte grupe.
Marele castigator pleaca la Madrid, in Spania, (cu masa, cazare si bani de bere asigurati) sa reprezinte Romania la finala europeana Make It Count. Daca e si cel mai bun rider european are apoi sansa sa ajunga la Element YMCA Skate Camp in Sequoia Park.
Premii vor fi pentru toti cei care reusesc se impresioneze cu stilul lor: tricouri, sepci, placi, hanorace Element, rucsacuri Dakine + mega-good time pentru toata lumea.
